JERRY
(press name for details)
action / video / text / voice
[personal profile] expi

Appointed by the Council to reign in lawlessness in Aldrip, Jerry is a matter-of-fact man that has little time for nonsense. His goals are the Council's goals -- to make sure that peace comes back to the citizens and for the Chosen to carry out the rest of their sentences appropriately.

He is usually in the newly rebuilt City Hall, unless he's apprehending lawbreakers.

Jerry is not his real name, but it's the name that was given to him by a strange, sassy fairy that just seemed to stick. He may grumble about it if said fairy is around, but he's not very keen on giving out his real name, either.

Any lawlessness and rulebreaking or trolling can be sent to Jerry in the various ways listed above in this post. Sentencing proofs will also be sent to this post, with an appropriate subject line.

Is there really no other option? I was hoping for a proper conversation, and that'd be putting a lot on the messenger that would have to keep going back and forth...

[His smile is sympathetic, thoughtful even, but slightly strained. It's a delicate act. Too perfectly nice in this situation might come across as insincere, but only a little evidence of frustration can be allowed to slip through if he wants to still seem genuinely considerate.]

And from what I've heard, waiting for sentencing could take months, unless one does something particularly awful to earn it. I'm sure they don't mean to encourage their guests to do more crime in order to get an audience, but it unfortunately feels like the only way left open to us, and it's not an option I'd want to try.

[Saralegui is undeterred, still smiling as he eyes Jerry curiously.]

Oh, I'm not necessarily looking for answers. I suppose you could say I'd like to make a deal. Do you have the authority for things like that as well, or are you limited to handling questions?

[Nothing at all, someone one just has to be upfront to get shit done.]

From what I've heard, no one has actually yet achieved "repentance" by your standards and been sent home, even after months here. And I can't afford to wait that long. I'm responsible for a great many people, you see.

[He doesn't have to lie at all about this, just make his expression a bit more sympathetic yet determined.]

So I'd like to see what can be done about fast-tracking that. Whatever the Council requires to make that happen, I'm willing to work with them. And I think you'll find there's very little I can't accomplish when I've set my mind to it.

Unfortunately, patience is something I can't afford.

[A tiny bit of of the sweet sincerity leaks out of his voice at that, eyes narrowing slightly in cool calculation. He sighs and pauses, taking his glasses off as if to clean them before looking back up at Jerry, a pale blue glow seeping into his irises.

Typically, with the glow comes a foggy-headedness, a compulsion to obey. Most don't even remember anything strange on Saralegui's part. Not all, but he'll deal with that later. Too much caution and delicacy requires patience that, as be said, he can't afford right now.]

You understand, don't you? Surely there must be something you can do for me.
