Appointed by the Council to reign in lawlessness in Aldrip, Jerry is a matter-of-fact man that has little time for nonsense. His goals are the Council's goals -- to make sure that peace comes back to the citizens and for the Chosen to carry out the rest of their sentences appropriately.

He is usually in the newly rebuilt City Hall, unless he's apprehending lawbreakers.

Jerry is not his real name, but it's the name that was given to him by a strange, sassy fairy that just seemed to stick. He may grumble about it if said fairy is around, but he's not very keen on giving out his real name, either.

Any lawlessness and rulebreaking or trolling can be sent to Jerry in the various ways listed above in this post. Sentencing proofs will also be sent to this post, with an appropriate subject line.

There are almost always basic human laws, is there not? The Council combined what they deemed to be important from the worlds.

...That is true, yes. However, I must ask, for clarity's sake: are these supposed to be "unwritten" rules we are to deduce on our own? I don't mean to sound daft at all, but some people do enjoy having the written word as a reference for keeping themselves and others around them from acting out.

Yes, that would be fantastic, thank you! I think having things in a clear written format will discourage plenty when they cannot cite lawlessness as a reason.

Let's see, what else... There was some interest expressed in learning more about the gods, as well as how closely the Council collaborates with them, if at all. Is there anything specific these gods are expecting of us?

[there's a pause on the question of the gods.]

Those Who Were There are a religion of the people of this world more than a religion of the Council. They don't collaborate anymore.

["Anymore"... that is certainly an interesting way to word it.]

I see... very good, then. My next question is one I am admittedly interested in hearing about, as it relates to me personally. What sort of mechanism has brought us here, and how has it managed to take even those of us who were dead originally? Is it something you have proper control over?

[there's a long silence. it almost... seems like Jerry is processing something. his gaze shifts to the side for a moment...]

[Another flash of surprise.] Truly? That would suggest you answer to someone even higher in the chain of command... Are you willing to go into more detail about that, perchance?

[his eyes unfocus a little. seems as if he's processing again...]

I cannot. I'm not authorized to speak of my superior.

Moving on, then... Some people have inferred that there have been one or more groups of Chosen before us, based upon various observations made of the setting. That Aldrip was already prepared to welcome us when the first few arrived, among other things that would suggest a group of people that came before. Can you speak to any of that?

Aldrip has not housed Chosen before now... but they had time to make preparations for you all.

Were you one of those that went to the desert?

[heartofsalvation]

I am, yes. There were ruins... along with the faint suggestion that something dire had happened there. And of course, the ghosts of those who had been betrayed. Are you able to speak any on it?
